Throughout the month of March 2022, we’re offering ready-to-ship prefab containers of various configurations at very competitive prices. Fully-equipped prefab containers are prefabricated using 50mm or 60mm Rockwool-insulated sandwich panels. These modular containers are delivered in ready-to-assemble kits. Up to ten modules of 6 x 2.40 metres and 2.60 metres high are shipped on a single 13-metre standard transport truck or a single 40-foot sea container.

Prefab sanitary facilities

Prefabricated sanitary facility containers are standard dimension modules (3×2.40m / 6×2.40m and 11.70×2.40). A 6-metre module can contain a maximum of six sanitary facilities (toilet, urinal and shower). These prefab container facilities are configured for use as construction site locker rooms and include the following equipment: metal lockers, benches, cubicles, showers, toilets and washbasins.

For destinations that can be exported by truck (i.e. European countries), these modules are shipped fully assembled on 13-metre trucks. We can ship a maximum of four 3-metre modules, two 6-metre modules or one 12-metre module per truck, including all equipment.  We manufacture tailor-made sanitary facility containers. Prefab sanitary facility containers can be shipped by sea. In this case, the modules are shipped in a special kit including all fixtures. How much does a prefab container cost?

Prefab containers are fixed structures intended for temporary use. Adaptable to your needs, they contribute to your employees’ well-being. How much should I budget for a prefab container? Numerous elements must be considered in order to receive an accurate estimate.

Basic criteria in budgeting for a prefab container

The price of a prefab container is calculated according to its technical specifications. It starts with the thickness of the walls, which can be 5, 6, 8 or 10 cm. For additional comfort, the walls should be insulated and the material chosen (polyurethane or Rockwool). This will also affect the estimate.

Frame types are also an essential element that affects price differences. Options include PVC and aluminium. However, it’s important to understand that the budget for aluminium frames is twice as high as for PVC windows and doors.
Depending on these elements, it’s possible to obtain an overall idea of the expected cost.

Required elements and various options

The structure of the modular prefab container forms the basis of the calculation, but its features don’t provide all the necessary details. Indeed, the configuration must also be considered, and this will depend on both the intended use and the level of comfort you wish to enjoy. For example, a container with interior walls will not be priced the same as one with no interior walls. Following the same logic, the addition of sanitary facilities will automatically affect the base budget.
In general, the electrical system, including lighting, is an essential element of prefabricated containers.
Other options include the installation of anti-intrusion fencing, a drinking water supply or heating system, etc.
Overall, the average price of a prefab container is approximately €200 per square metre. Depending on the options you’re looking to incorporate into your prefabricated container, this price can reach €500 per square metre.
To help you control your budget, we offer in-stock containers that cost approximately €3,000 for 15 m² modules. We also offer you the option of ordering custom-made containers to adapt your temporary construction to the specific requirements of each of your sites.
